Our History
Mercantina Group was born in 2013 with the opening of the iconic Mercantina restaurant, created to honor Mediterranean cuisine, with true Neapolitan pizza, risottos and fresh pastas made daily in the pasta lab. Currently has five restaurants in the Portuguese capital and a delivery brand. As executive chef of the group, is Chef Natanael Silva, responsible for the creation and renovation of the menu restaurants Mercantina Alvalade, Bistro 37, maat Café & Kitchen, Müla and Take the Box. Executive chef Ricardo Estevas is in charge of the Terra Nova by Populi restaurant, located in the iconic Terreiro do Paço square.
